((OOC: this is to keep things going since we seem to have slowed down a little.))
The negotiations on Tatooine had been every bit of what Ka'lii Expected. There had been other Jedi not far away watching and waiting to see what move she made. It was a screaming shame that she had to leave Nas'ra locked aboard the ship, but so it was. A dark smile had played on her face as she mused to herself that the ship came with a new anti-theft system.
As soon as the meeting was over, she made a bee-line for the ship and climbed aboard. As soon as she stepped on, a low growl and deep barking echoed through the ship. The sound of claws scraping shrilly on metal was enough to make a couple of the Council members wince as they followed behind. They couldn't believe it when they heard her voice call out, almost purr, "Nas'ra, who's that good puppy?"
The barking stopped as did the scratching. They instead heard excited whimpers and a low growling, wookie-like noise. There were thuds that seemed to speak of a tail hitting a wall. Much to thier unease, she opened the door only to be greeted by a massive pink tongue to the face and more excited canine grunts. After a few seconds, the dog calmed down and took her place beside Kayura. Smiling she said, "Not this time, I have to go to the cockpit."
Icethorne, goahead and take a seat in the co-pilot seat. I'll be there shortly.
A few seconds later, she was seated in the cockpit entering in a hyperspace equation. Once done, she got on the intercom. "Attention passengers, this is your captain speaking, I'd first like to thank you for selecting Korriban Space Lines. Please observe the fasten seatbelt and no smoking signs. Also take a moment to be sure that your seats and tray-tables are in thier locked and upright positions. Remeber to stow your carry-on baggage in the overhead compartments or under the dog in front of you. Our destination is Korriban itself, with a short layover in the southern hemisphere of Sriluur. At this time we are now cleared for takeoff."
Everyone aboard from the other lords to the one apprentice aboard knew this was a joke. There were a few amused chuckles and others simply shaking thier heads. The ship then lurched off of its landing gear and gracefully lifted off the ground.
Some time and a few Hyperspace flights later, the ship came to Sriluur. The desert world was a bright tan shpere in the blackness of space. The odd white swirl floated in the atmosphere and the ship was drifting toward the bottom half of the planet to another desert continent. It was from sheer memory that she landed this one in the same place as when she first found Nas'ra.
It drew curious glances as she walked to the hatch as it opened. She let out a whistle and Nas'ra hopped up. For a creature that weighed nearly a ton, she moved with a fluid grace and simply flashed over to the hatch. Both of them walked along to the end. Seconds later, there was a sound that sent chills through the Council members. There was a dual howl that echoed over the sands. One they knew came from the dog, but the second they could only guess.
More chilling still was the sight of a big male Dark Wolf walking up glancing side-long at the ship. It paced an untrusting circle around the ship with hackles raised over the leathery hide. There was a low growl before it slowly walked in, up the hatch and seemed to be directed into the rear compartment where Nas'ra had been kept during the negotiations. An invisible hand neatly shut the door behind the dog with Nas'ra immediately sniffing the floor with interest.
Again, Kayura was seated in the captain's seat and entering a second Hyperspace equation. Her fingers, slender and now quite pale wer flying spedily over the keypad. Her yellow eyes were fixed on the screen as if to run the equation in her head before finalizing it. Her breath was pluming subtly, indicating the exertion it took to split her concentration between the beast in the back and the computer in front of her.
There were a few quiet moments befor the ship made the motions of taking off. She could sense the unease settling through the cabin and there was a second sensation: it was curiosity. She could feel eyes on her. Once the equations were finalized, she hit Enter and turned her head. She saw an inquisitive expression on Icenthorne's face. Her head tilted slightly, a brow came up in an equally curious arch. Pluming still, her voice half-whisered, "Yes? Did you have a question, Apprentice?"
((OOC: Icethorne, I edited, this should help a little.))
