Sidro stood at the entrance of the temple, and for the thousandth time that day he questioned his desition to come to the temple again. But he thought it right to attend the funeral of one of the closest friends he had with the Jedi. But no one acknowlaeged he was there
So after a few hours of the funeral he was shock when a council memeber asked to speak to him before he left. When he followed him to a small meditating room he was even more shock to see most of the council there, and all in cerimonial uniform.
"We have chosen you as a canidate for the next grandmaster," One said of the masters said. "former sith lord, former jedi master, former Sultan of the Grey Jedi" differant people took turns listing his former titles. "Sidro Haanc, we will be holding elections but first it is customary for the canidet to give his permission to be in the elections." One of them finished.
Sidro gawked at them, feeling a bit of anger that they would ask him on the day of the formers funeral. So he just turned an evil eye to each of them in turn then spoke planly. "Give me one good reason on why I should even concider this offer."

"Give me one good reason on why I should even concider this offer."
That drew a slow nod, a sigh, and a knowing expression. The effect of it was one of a placid grace. In a soft whisper, the Jedi Master answered, "It would be unwise to speak of it out here where there are some still feeling the sting of the loss. Please, follow me."
The Jedi master calmly walked to an empty section of the halls and began to give a deeper answer in a soft whisper, "I can give you more than one Master Haank, for starters, it concerns the Sith. They have been surprisingly more covert in thier movements. We know exactly who was responsible for the attack on the late Grandmaster. We felt the presence of one of the Red Hand cloaked in the Force. That's merely the start of it. The fact that thier strageties have changed reflects what we fear is a shift in thier leadership. We suspect that this taken with the timing of the cyber attack on the naval fleet was no coincidence."
There was a sigh as the Jedi Master shifted trains of though. "Master Haank, you were nominated because of your unique insight into the Sith Order. We know you can provide valuable human intelligence on them." The tone shifted to one of quiet and restrained pleading, "I can understand if you should turn the offer down. Even if you decline the title of Grandmaster, we would still appreciate your help."

Sidro stood in stone silence as the counil told him about the Siths recent actions, and started puting everything together in his mind. Alot of people wonder how his mind works, most think he is just lucky and relies completly on instinct, but Kayura thought just like him, a computer throwing everything together and planning. He saw some of the uncoventional warfair he taught her, and even some of the hacking skills he passed to her. But still his slight supicion was not enough.
"I need to see everything you have on the recent Sith activities." He told them briskly, and someone jumped and got it for him.
38 minutes later
No doubt now, Kayura is leading the Sith attacks, maybe even the Sith itself. She had the talent, and now with her emotions unlocked she would be a lot more dangerous. He taught her alot of what she knows, but she did have another master, which makes her a wild card with what she knows. But her personality is still the same. Unconventional, and alot like Sidro, he grinned, and couldnt help but feel pride in his student.
But when he turned to the Council he was all buisness. "Fine I accept whatever decision the Council makes, if it is what you need of me, I will take the seat of grandmaster, and lead you, and even if not I will stay and help defeat the Sith." He watched the shocked faces as he changed his mind in an instant, well at least in their eyes. But this was a desition well thought over, he will fix his mistake, one way or another.......

The Jedi Master stood stunned and blinked. Immediately, the expression of surprise was washed away in a breath and replaced with that placid serenity. There was a graceful nod of the head as he replied, "Thank you Master Haank, and good luck at the elections. It seems now you have quite a bit of work ahead of you." There was a brief shift of the eyes before he leaned in and whispered, "Some will say they are a little disappointed that you returned, but I'm actually glad you're back. This new threat is unlike anything before it."
