It was time to begin a new pahse of the plan. There were worlds that wer ready to come on board. She couldn't have been more pleased with herself as she shed the burgundy robes to reveal the true black of Sith garb. Genosia was one more world that had fallen into the sphere of her design. So far, there was time to wait on Corellia, there was time to wait on all of them. It was now time to tell the rest of the Sith Council that it was time to wage war and trigger a fight from the Republic. Blinking, her eyes shifted back from black to yellow and glittered with amusement at the thought of her first target.
It was time to bring an old wepon back into play. They were going to need to provoke a fight on Corellia. There was a dark smile playing on her face as she strode confidently through the halls, drawing on the emmense tides of the Force to keep awake. She didn't walk alone. Surrounding her were forms that seemed as solid as she, but she had long known that she was the one among the Sith who was never alone.
Hers were long, confident strides that floated her to the main audience chamber. She was not alone even in mortal company. She was flanked by her two guards. Nas'ra walked along in equally graceful strides with her head up and eyes scanning. Al-Hattal was sniffing at the floor with eyes peering ahead.
Taking her seat, she was the image of confidence as she drifted in and took her rightful place at the throne. As she sat, so did her furry guards. Neither fully relaxed, all three of them peered out as shadows cast by the living as they entered.
"What is thy bidding, my lord?"
Her powerful black eyes peered out over them. There was no trace of the fatigue she now jealously kept to herself. Her voice was still the same lilting whisper as before, "We make the first move gentlemen. We now make the Republic do as many fear, we make them attack Corellia."
"How would we do that?"
"Attack, but make it look like an insurgency. The Republic has police forces there to guard thier interests. It wouldn't tke much, but we must be careful about it." She knew that there was going to be another question.
"Should we use Red Hand special forces?"
She gave it a moment of thought, "Yes, but they will need to be briefed. We have to make it look as if the local population were responsible."
"What about this new and so-called Kingdom of Korriban that's cropping up on the Holonet?"
"We're making our own political front. You can well imagine how difficult it would be to walk in and simply conduct business. Only on Tatooine are we really able to wander about in full garb without reprisal, second only to this planet of course. They don't know that we aren't really a kingdom, but an empire. They don't know that the chief diplomat is the queen. The less of the truth they know, gentlemen, the more we stand to gain. We laready have Corellia considering our offer, Alderaan as well as Genosia, which I know will likely come on board."
She had been Dark Lord for less than a year and already they had grown fabulously wealthy, they were begining to grow politically powerful and they had plenty of weapons to begin a direct assault on the Republic. There were some already beginning to thing that it was wiser to start another campaign like the last Hyperspace War again.
Sensing it, she nodded slowly, and remarked, speaking slolwy and with a voice holding the power of an empress, "Let's not repeat that mistake. Did we not learn the first time what price we paid...and for what? There wasn't that much left to re-take once it was all said and done. Let's think about this objectively: we move in this fashion, the fighting is done for us by other hands. We simply take what's left."
"What about the so-called opposition?"
She paused, "They will be brought into the fray. They inevitably will as they are sent to be peacemakers. Invariably, they will volunteer to be put in harm's way. That makes it easier for our assassins to go and dispatch them. Gentlemen, while many of you are training apprentices or sleeping, I am awake thinking these things through. We simply set up the status quo to fail. While the Jedi are luered into the fray, they will become eaiser targets to eliminate. Once they are taken care of, then we are free to go about reclaiming what is rightfully ours. We will re-take our lost empire." Her voice echoed, booming with power as she spoke with her natural voice. Like thunder it echoed through the halls with the word "empire" resonating almost through the temple.
For a moment there was silence. Those about to form dissent were left thinking of where a weakness lay in her plans. None were immediately clear and yes, without the distraction of an apparentice, she was left with quite a bit of time to plan these maneuvers out. Still thinking it over as the word "empire" echoed through the halls, they realized that the price of the last Hyperspace war had been a steep one, costing the lives of many Sith as well as many throughout the galaxy.
Her eyes fell on them with all the weight of a lead brick, "We do with the rest of the Galaxy what we did with the Verpine. They do not yet realize that they have been conquered. They do not know because we stand watch yet leave them be to do as they do. Already, they have brought us profit. Now you see the purpose of such careful planning. If done right, the galaxy will not be aware that it has been conquered. If done right, the galaxy will only know that the separatists have made thier stand. We will be there waiting quietly behind the scenes to claim what's ours when it is then left too weak to defend itself. How much less will we have lost then?"
Though the whole time she spoke with a soft lilting voice, it echoed with that unnatural power, even beginning to plume ever so slightly. The logic of it was as undenyable as ever as they realized the cunning that they had to face in thier new Dark Lord. Many plotting to take her place soon relaized what difficulties lay ahead.
Her eyes peered now with all the power and focus of a bird of prey, "Gentlemen, unles there is any other business we need to discuss, I declare the meeting over. I now have some business to take care of."
